| Transcender Appoints New President Transcender LLC is pleased to announce its appointment of Edward T. Acerno to the office of President. Acerno is one of the original founders of Transcender Corporation and has acted in the capacity of Chief Technical Officer since he joined the company in April 1996. As Chief Technical Officer, Acerno was responsible for the development and direction of Transcender's product lines. He also worked closely with the founder and current CEO of Transcender, Aneel M. Pandey, to cultivate the organization into the business it is today. Richard Zhu, who has been serving as Transcender's Chief Information Officer since 1996, will take over as Chief Technical Officer. Prior to his career with Transcender, Acerno graduated from Duke University with a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Economics. He then worked in a senior consulting and management capacity for American Management System (Fairfax, VA) and Seer Technologies (Cary, NC) between 1988 and 1996. Like many Transcender employees and customers, Acerno is himself certified and possesses a clear understanding of the certification market and the needs of certified individuals.
